Half Moon Bay Golf Course at your door, proshop, lessons and equipment hire. There are several first class golf courses in the region. Public tennis courts 2 minutes walk away or lounge around our pool or relax in the spa. Local birdwatching in the park and safe swimming at the nearby beach.
Cairns being a major tourist destination has a large cruise fleet for water activities including fishing, diving, sightseeing tours to Arlington, More and Sunbury Reefs, the Great Barrier Reef and Green Island National Park.
Try World Heritage Rainforest walks or enjoy the many beautiful beaches along the coastline. For something different take a joy flight over the Great Barrier Reef, try hot air ballooning, white water rafting and horse riding. Enjoy the spectacular scenery from the Kuranda Mountain climbing train or the Skyrail over the rainforests.

How To Get There:
|
For bookings for a minimum of five nights, Half Moon Bay Resort offers complimentary airport transfers between the hours 7.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday, or Saturday from 8am to 6.30pm and must be prebooked. Please contact us once you have made your booking.
From Cairns Airport, Coral Coaches are available for transfers, or Black & White Taxis cost approximately $35.00 (subject to change) to Yorkeys Knob.
If you are driving, proceed north on Captain Cook Highway to Yorkeys Knob roundabout (approximately 11km from the airport), turn right and drive into Yorkeys Knob. Turn left at Wattle Street and proceed approxiamtely 500 metres to Half Moon Bay Resort on the left.
