'Mansfield' is a comfortable 3 bedroom cottage, farmhouse situated on 4 Hectares and nestled in the beautiful Barrington River Valley. The cottage is the Homestead of two generations of Perram Dairy Farmers.
Mansfield Cottage is fully self-contained, self-catering and has modern conveniences, with rustic charm. 'Mansfield' sleeps from 2 to 7 people comfortably with mattresses for an extra 3 people. The reverse cycle air-conditioning and wood stove make for very pleasant summer & winter holidays. The lovely surrounding garden attracts many native birds including Kookaburras, Butcher Birds, Honeyeaters and King Parrots.

Mansfield Cottage is 3 hours from Sydney all on tar sealed roads. Just 30 minutes from the Barrington Tops National Park, a World Heritage Area, 'Mansfield' is the gateway to this beautiful untouched heartland.
Families have a great time, with piano, TV room, games cupboard, table tennis, two large verandas, as well as access to the glorious Barrington Tops National Park (a world Heritage Area), just 30 mins drive. Also available locally is canoe hire, horse riding, picturesque cycling, golf, tennis and much, much more. Don't forget that you have dry weather vehicle access right to the stone cobbled, pristine Barrington River, at your door, suitable for swimming & tubing.

From doing nothing and enjoying the peace and tranquility to a range of activities leaving you needing a rest on your return from holiday. The Barrington River just 150 metres from your door provides swimming, fishing, platypus watching, canoeing and tubing. Nature River Walk with a variety of wildlife about. There are many cycling tracks in the area and the wide open spaces around the cottage provide opportunities to kick a ball about or have a family game of cricket. Indoors, the Piano, cards and games cupboard provide more opportunities for family fun. Local activities include Tandem Skydiving, Whitewater canoeing, horse riding, hiking tours, bicycle tours and 4WD tours. The Gloucester Heritage walk, National Parks Discovery Guided Tours and Koala Watching. A day trip to the Barrington Tops World Heritage Wilderness is highly recommended. Visit the old gold mines, tour historic buildings, art gallery and museum plus much more.

How To Get There:
|

From Sydney, take the Sydney Newcastle Freeway north to Raymond Terrace. Continue north for 16km to Twelve Mile Creek then turn left into Bucketts Way and continue 78km to Gloucester. Drive through the Main Street and turn left at the roundabout to "Scone". Continue 8km into Barrington. After the Petrol Station at Barrington, turn left into Barrington East Road. We are 4km on the right hand side. Look for #406 and a large reflective sign on a white paling entrance.
