"Lakeside Holiday Letting" is a self contained holiday house located in Lakeside Estate, only 5 minutes drive from Yungaburra, with water frontage to Tinaroo Dam, on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. Featuring all the comforts of home on the foreshore of Lake Tinaroo just 5 minutes from shops and restaurants of Yungaburra.

A spacious and cheery interior with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and appliances including sandwich maker, electric frypan, crockpot, toaster etc. Laundry with washing machine and dryer, wide veranda with BBQ and various games, magazines, children's books, table tennis table and local guide books are provided all adding to the home away from home atmosphere. Suitable for families this house can accommodate up to 8 people. There are three queen size beds and two single beds. Linen is supplied.

Please Note: Small house-trained pets are welcome inside at night, otherwise for larger dogs there is plenty of room on the patio. They will require their own bedding and are not permitted on the furniture or on the carpets in the bedrooms. Pet owners are to collect any droppings in the yard and dispose of them in the wheelie bin provided. Any breakage or damage done by pets will be the responsibility of the pet owners. It is the pet owners responsibility to control their animals, and if needed, to have them on a leash when there are other animals or people around.

The Atherton Tablelands are renowned for its scenic beauty, heritage listed volcanic crater lakes, streams, rivers and waterfalls. The rainforests and wildlife provide spectacular bushwalks and birdwatching opportunities and the high altitude creates a cool mountain air climate.
A historic region with many excellent boutique restaurants, cafe's, craft galleries, fine arts and country markets. The famous Yungaburra markets are held on the 4th Saturday of every month. With local wineries producing premier wines, this area is a delight for those seeking excellent cuisine.
Activities of the area include excellent fishing (license required), canoeing, waterskiing on the lakes and swimming. A number of tours and adventures are available including caves, hot air ballooning, scenic flights and historic steam train rides. Don't miss the famous Curtain Fig Tree or the Millaa Millaa Falls and lookout and the Malanda Falls. Native Bird and local guide books including binoculars are provided for guests use.

How To Get There:

From Cairns, follow the Bruce Highway S for 24km to Gordonvale. Turn right towards the Gillies Highway and continue W for 39km to Yungaburra. As you come into Yungaburra take the first street on the right(Maple St), go past the Yungaburra State Primary School on your right. At the end of Maple Street turn right into Barrine Road. Take the next turn right into Park Ave which runs into Jacaranda Drive. Jacaranda Drive runs into Oleander Drive. We are number 20 on the right hand side with water frontage to Lake Tinaroo.
