Walk along Mission Beach, 14km of Pristine Golden sand flanked by Rainforest and the Coral Sea where you can feel the serenity and isolation. Adjacent Rainforests provide both short and long walking tracks where you can enjoy the many varieties of wildlife. Take a scenic drive through the forests to the spectacular Millaa Millaa Falls. A 60 minute cruise to the great barrier reef to view the unique coral formations and giant clams from a glass bottom boat. An aquatic paradise with canoeing, sailing, kayaking, game fishing and diving on shipwrecks. Jet ski tours around Dunk Island. White water rafting, Tandem parachute jumping and charter flights over the islands. Craft shops, cafe's, Museums and art galleries, spanish castle ruins and spectacular gardens at Mena Creek. Your hosts will be delighted to help with your selections.

How To Get There:
|
Approx 233km N of Townsville Or 144km S of Cairns.
From Brisbane: Follow the Bruce Highway north to Tully (midway between Townsville and Cairns). Turn right off the highway onto the Tully Mission Beach Road and continue for approx 15km to Mission Beach. Turn right into Webb Road. The first turn on the right is Reid Road. Cassawong Cottages is just after the Bunting Street intersection and have distinctive red and gold Balinese flags across the front.
Cairns Airport: Mission Beach-Dunk Island Connections bus departs the airport at 7am, 11am & 2pm. They will deliver you to the door.
Mission Beach Limousines pick up from Cairns & Townsville Airports by arrangement.
Sugarland Car Rentals have a base in Mission Beach & Cairns.
