Dolphin Heads Resort ~ located in the beautiful Northern Beaches area of Mackay. A comfortable 20 minute drive from Mackay Airport and 16km north of Mackay CBD.

Dolphin Heads Resort offers 80 Studio Rooms which are surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a garden view, pool view or ocean view. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with 1 x queen size bed + 1 x single bed (some have a sofa bed), bathroom, TV, DVD, Austar TV, tea/coffee making facilities, microwave, mini bar fridge, ironing equipment, ceiling fans, hairdryer and your own private balcony or courtyard. Ground floor suites feature terra cotta tiled floors and patios; while the upper level suites are fully carpeted and have walkout balconies.

Dolphin Heads Resort has specially designed accommodation available for guests with disabilities and their carers. This room has two single beds and ensuite especially designed for wheelchair access. The shower is designed for wheelchair access and has a fixed and portable shower chair available. The secure handrails and non-fixed shower hose make bathing trouble free. Hand rails are located near the toilet and the ensuite has non-slip flooring located throughout. The pathways around the resort can accommodate wheelchair access although some areas are not suitable.

How To Get There:

Self drive guests need to turn off the highway down Mackay-Bucasia Road, past Mount Pleasant, turn right on the roundabout on the corner of the Bi-Lo shopping Complex, then turn right onto Shann Street, left onto Admiral Drive, and left onto Beach Road. You are Here!

Check-in/Check-out Details:

Check-in Time - 2:00 PM. Check-out Time - 10:00 AM
Office Hours: 7.00am to 6.00pm. Reception closes at 3.00PM on Sundays. Early Check-In is subject to availability, on request only. If you will be arriving after 6pm you must contact reception after your booking is made using the telephone number on your booking confirmation email, before 6.00pm to arrange an after hours check-in.

Parking Facilities:

Car parking is in the Dolphin Heads Resort Car Park which is off-street. There is no charge for parking.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations made at this property forfeit the full amount of the first night cancelled. "There will be NO REFUNDS given after check in"
