Accommodation at Kewarra Beach Resort includes individual timber bungalows discretely located into the gardens and on the beachfront. Kewarra also offers six luxury suites for guests wanting the extra space. All Bungalows have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, mini bar, television, telephones, in-room safes, radios and hairdryer.
The main building, housing the restaurant, foyer and guest lounge/bar, reflects the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Far North Queensland in its architecture and original works of art. Dining at Kewarra Beach Resort takes place primarily in Island Kings Restaurant, named in honour of the great chiefs of the Torres Strait Islands and looking out on to the resort's tropical gardens. Serving 'creative cuisine' prepared by the resort's master chefs and offering a wide selection of wines. The 80-seat restaurant is open for a buffet or full breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6.30am until late. Two Rock pools with spas and waterfalls are set separately in the gardens for guests to enjoy.

How To Get There:

Kewarra Beach Resort is situated just 15km - 10 mins north of Cairns International Airport via the scenic Captain Cook Highway, and 40km - 35 mins south of Port Douglas. The resort's 12 seat coaches provide airport transfers. A regular bus service operates between Cairns city/airport and Port Douglas calling in to Kewarra Beach Resort.
For those guests arriving by private car, Kewarra Beach Resort is located 15 minutes north of Cairns Airport, along with Captain Cook highway. Turn off at the roundabout to Kewarra Beach. The resort is at the end of the road.
