Goondiwindi is situated on the McIntyre River forming the boundary between Queensland and New South Wales and is the gateway to the Western Downs.
A sprawling Queensland country town built around the Old Customs House, now the Goondiwindi Museum. The Victoria Hotel is a spectacular, well preserved and very original country style pub. A visit to Gunya Crafts should not be missed when in Gundy and is located opposite the Gunsynd Statue celebrating the famous grey galloper with 29 wins in some of Australia's greatest horse races.
Stroll around the Botanic Gardens located within the Western Woodlands and view the unique collection of native plants from the Upper Darling Basin area.
Take a tour of the Macintyre Cotton Gin - April to August or enjoy the many scenic driving tours. Visit the Customs House Museum or relax and fish for Murray Cod and Yellow Belly in the Macintyre River. See the historical graves at Callandoon Cemetery or play golf at Goondiwindi Golf Club. Take a walking tour or see the historic Martha's Cottage.

How To Get There:
|
From the Centenary Highway, take the Ipswich Motorway exit to Darra. Continue onto Warrego Highway at Riverview then continue along the Warrego Highway. Turn left and follow the Gore Highway for approx 200km, turn left at Leichhardt Highway, continue along West Street, turn left at Lagoon Street, left at Russell Street, turn right at Albert Street, then left at Marshall Street. The trip is approx 5 hours drive.
Access to the property is via the Cunningham Highway, exit the Cunningham Highway via roundabout access to Goondiwindi, this leads directly into Marshall Street six blocks on left.
