Batchelor Resort offers 22 comfortable and spacious hotel motel accommodation and quality service in a rural bush setting. All rooms surround the swimming pool and the upstairs rooms have balconies overlooking pool. Each room has Television with good local reception of all major channels. Tea and coffee making facilities and guest refrigerator are provided in all rooms. Rooms are equipped with both air-conditioning and ceiling fans. All rooms are fitted with an analog data line for the convenience of guests with laptop computers. In-room dialing is available to all rooms for guest's convenience. Also on the resort is an internet cafe.
The Rum Jungle Bistro is open for casual dining from Noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm. Rum Jungle Restaurant is open from 6pm to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays.
Batchelor Resort is a haven for native birds. These wild birds fly in twice daily to a feeding area where guests can view and take photos of many varieties of wild native birds.

The Batchelor area is steeped in history from early Chinese market gardens, used as a base during the Second World War and pastoral and mining industries. The nearby Rum Jungle area saw the first uranium mine in Australia.
Batchelor is the gateway to Litchfield National Park. The park offers fantastic crystal clear plunge pools below spring fed waterfalls and are surrounded by monsoon vine thickets and streams. Wildlife is abundant in and near the water also around the eroded rock formations and open woodlands. Have fun swimming and exploring nature walks and enjoy the pristine Florence Falls, Buley Rockholes, Tolmer Gorge or Wangi Falls. Go on a wildlife cruise available during dry season months. Have fun skydiving in Batchelor or go on a scenic flight. Visit Coomalie Cultural Centre to view Indigenous arts and crafts or see giant Magnetic and Cathedral termite mounds.

How To Get There:
|
Batchelor Resort is located opposite the Police Station and 500 metres from town centre. There are no taxis or hire vehicles available in the town of Batchelor. The closest domestic airport is situated at Darwin approx 100km from the resort.
Drive 86km south of Darwin along the Stuart Highway, turn West into Batchelor Road. Proceed for 13km to the roundabout, bypassing the town centre. Turn right into Rum Jungle Road and travel 800 metres to Batchelor Resort entrance. Turn left into the driveway.
