The apartments can accommodate a maximum of 3 Adults OR 2 Adults and 2 Small Children on a sofa bed. All apartments face the ocean, with views across the gardens and through the trees to the Coral Sea beyond.
Within walking distance of Clifton Sands there are Palm Cove restaurants, cafes, beachside barbeque facilities and a supermarket. Enjoy a quiet cocktail in the gardens before going out to dine at some of the finest restaurants Australia has to offer in Palm Cove. And when you've finished you can stroll back to the hotel along the sand while the surf rolls lazily onto the beach. There is a tennis court adjacent and the Pacific Palms Golf Course is a 5 minute drive away. You can choose to spend your days exploring the Great Barrier Reef with diving and snorkelling for the adventurous or simply indulge in a full day of relaxation on a sailing trip to the islands as well as visiting many of the coral cays.
A short drive north from Clifton Beach takes you Port Douglas along a scenic coastal drive, then travelling further north you can experience the wild rainforest of the Daintree with all its local inhabitants such as the salt water crocodiles.
Take a cruise along the Daintree River or cross using the Daintree ferry where you can then travel on through the wilderness to Cape Tribulation.
Discover the wonders and beauty of the Cairns Highlands which will take you through the complex scenery change of the mountain rainforests to the regions further away from the coast. Once over the mountain range you will find Kuranda, which is a quiet rainforest village with local markets. Kuranda is also accessible via Skyrail Rainforest Cableway or the Kuranda Tourist Train through the pristine wilderness of the Kuranda Range.
The completion of the newly built Clifton Beach Shopping Centre adds to the convenience of the area. The shopping complex consists of retail outlets for such amenities as groceries, chemist, coffee shop, bottle shop, bakery, newsagent and situated adjacent to the complex is a service station which also caters for all fishing and fuel needs.

Clifton Sands Apartments is a 20 Minute drive north of Cairns International Airport. Airport Coaches or Limousine transfers are available from Cairns Airport through to Northern Beaches to "Meet and Greet" you on your arrival. Please ask at the time of booking.
