Fraser Island - This is the largest sand island in the world and is heritage listed. Rainbow Beach is the gateway to this magnificent Island and can be accessed directly from Rainbow Beach by barge from Inskip Point or the Rainbow Beach Flying Service which offers daily flights.
Coloured Sands and More - Take a tour through the Cooloola National Park, Coloured Sands, Double Island Point Lighthouse, Rainforest and Lake Freshwater.
Carlo Sand Blow - A bush walk up to Carlo Sandblow is a must for every visitor. The Blow is an easy 600m walk from the car park. Spectacular views of The Coloured Sands, Double Island Point and Tin Can Bay Inlet are the bonus for your efforts. This is a most beautiful piece of Natures Sculpture.
Dolphin feeding at Tin Can Bay - Take a cruise or a short drive and you can see the wild Dolphins come in to be fed.
Rainforest Walks - Rainbow Beach has many beautiful walks including, Lake Poona and Lake Freshwater.

How To Get There:
|
From Brisbane airport the drive will take 2.5 hours directly down the Bruce Highway with the turn off from Gympie.
From Sunshine Coast Airport & Fraser Coast Airport the drive will take 1.5 hours.
The Plantation Resort is approximately 1.5km from the, Welcome to Rainbow Beach sign. Once in Rainbow Beach follow the road straight into town, we are opposite the Post Office, turn right at the next intersection, then right again, reception is just on the left, next to the ice cream shop.
2.5 hours north of Brisbane - 1.5 hours north of Noosa - 45 mins east of Gympie

Reception hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday- Saturday, 9am to 4pm Sundays and Public holidays. If you are arriving outside of these hours please advise us prior to your arrival and you will be issued with your own security code to access your apartment key.
