Allumbah Pocket Cottages ~ Accommodation in the Heritage Listed Village of Yungaburra!
Allumbah Pocket Cottages offers six spacious cottages with open-plan living areas, which extends to your own secluded veranda. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a double spa bath and a separate large shower. The double spa looks out into the luscious private garden. The self-contained kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals including a bar size fridge, microwave, ceramic hotplates and tea/coffee making facilities. On winter evenings you can snuggle up on the cosy lounge to the warmth of the wood fire and enjoy watching your favourite DVDs (free). All cottages have a split system reverse cycle air-conditioner.
Accommodation in Yungaburra ~ ALLUMBAH POCKET COTTAGES at Yungaburra in the Cairns Hinterland!
For stays of 1 to 3 nights: Full breakfast provisions are supplied for you to cook at your leisure. Includes: Bacon and Eggs, Fresh Milk, Orange Juice, Cereals, Sugar and Nescafe Coffee, Coffee Works Plunger Coffee, Biscuits, Butter and Jams. Oil, Salt and Pepper, Paper Towel and Serviettes are also provided. A cob bun or slices of bread are delivered to your cottage at 8.00am daily.
Cottages are serviced daily except for 7+ night stays which are serviced every 4th day.
Two cottages at Allumbah Pocket Cottages accommodate 4 people and Four cottages accommodate 2 people. Bedding is flexible to your requirements, the following bedding combinations can be organised:-
1 x King + 1 Single OR 1 x King + 2 Single OR 3 x Singles OR 4 x Singles. 3 Cottages have 2 x king size beds and the other 3 Cottages have 2 x king split beds (each splits into 2 x single beds).
Allumbah Pocket Cottages has guest laundry facilities with washing machine, dryer and iron/ironing board. Yungaburra has a number of award winning restaurants all within walking distance of the cottages. There are also tennis courts in the village - equipment is available from reception.
Allumbah Pocket Cottages are located in Yungaburra, 1½ hours drive from Cairns Airport.
Explore the Village of Yungaburra by taking the historic walk around Yungaburra with Heritage Listed buildings, award winning restaurants, cafes and galleries. There are several excellent restaurants in which to dine - all within a few minutes walk from your accommodation in Yungaburra. Peterson Creek is just a few minutes walk away-an easy place to see platypus. The walk way follows the creek to a delightful swimming place called Frawley's Pool.

How To Get There:

Allumbah Pocket Cottages is located in Yungaburra, 1½ hours drive from Cairns Airport. Follow the signs south to Gordonvale and turn right onto the Gillies Highway. Once you have reached the top of the range continue on and you will pass the Lake Eacham Road House, which is 5 minutes from Yungaburra. Once you have reached Yungaburra, Allumbah Pocket Cottages is after the sharp left hand bend on the right hand side of the road opposite the park.
