Here at Placid Waters Holiday Apartments on the lovely Bribie Island, we have 24 fully self-contained spacious 2 bedroom apartments which overlook the Pumicestone Passage and is set in a tropical garden, surrounding a large solar heated swimming pool.

The 2 Bedroom Apartments at Placid Waters have a private balcony with water or poolside views, ceiling fans, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and full size fridge, bathroom with shower over bath and hairdryer, TV, video or DVD player and Foxtel. Each apartment has a fully equipped laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment. All units are non-smoking and are individually decorated. Apartments serviced weekly. Air-conditioned apartments available at an extra charge.

Facilities at Placid Waters Holiday Apartments include a large solar-heated swimming pool, sub-tropical landscaped gardens, electric BBQ facilities and secure undercover car parking.

Placid Waters Holiday Apartments is located an easy walk to local shops, restaurants, RSL club and two bowling clubs. There is a safe family beach and playground area across the road from our front gate. The boat ramp and jetty are approximately 300 metres from the complex and there are plenty of fishing and water activities within easy walking distance.

Beautiful Bribie Island is only a 40 minute drive north of Brisbane - cross the bridge over the Pumicestone Passage and feel the relaxed atmosphere help you unwind. The calm waters of the Passage are home to dugongs, dolphins, migratory birds with pelicans waiting at the fisherman's side for that fish! With the Glasshouse Mountains as a backdrop to glorious sunsets, followed by an evening at one of the many interesting restaurants, you will want to stay forever!

What about a game of golf on the all weather links course or the new Pacific Harbour Golf Course, a guided tour of the historical island and surrounds, a game of bowls or just relaxing around the solar heated pool with a good book to set the mood for a relaxing or fun evening at the local cafes, restaurants, RSL or bowls clubs.

How To Get There:
Bribie Island is less than an hours drive from Brisbane Airport. Exit off Bruce Highway (M1) past BP Caboolture, approx 21km to Bribie Island bridge. Turn right at the first roundabout over the bridge, left turn into Welsby Parade, follow for approximately 2km to Placid Waters Holiday Apartments.

Train to Caboolture station and bus service to Bribie Island.

Check-in/Check-out Details:
Check-in Time - 2:00 PM. Check-out Time - 10:00 AM
Onsite Managers, with reception hours Mon - Fri 8.00am to 5.30pm, Weekends and public holidays 8.00am to 12 midday. Please phone the resort prior to arrival to confirm arrival details and note your arrival time on your booking.
Parking Facilities:
Basement undercover security parking, with one parking space per unit. Access height to undercover car parking is 1.9mtrs, good off street parking in the area also available.
